The temperatures have finally warmed up to about 25+ above now and today we have warm WINDS and RAIN that is melting some of the beautiful snow. Today's commute to work was one of the worst in years. Schools closed...bus services not running and LOTS and LOTS of accidents due to the icy roads. Tom made it to work safely, barely--a guy almost slid into him. He said it was so slick he couldn't even hardly make the corners, even going slow. YIKES!! It was pretty hectic driving today, so....guess what? I'm at home right now until about noon, then I will head into work.
We are getting ready to leave on our trip tomorrow for a few days and hopefully it will be warmer and nicer where we are going. We are looking forward to the time with my sister and her hubby, and hopefully we will get to see Lon & Debi and maybe Christi and Dylon.
