Angel relaxing
Angel has it so tough some days...not. It has been so cold and snowy we haven't been real diligent with our daily exercise this winter. Although, on these really cold and dark days, I have gotten on our Ellipitical and working out on it. I have to do some sort of exercise for a least 20-30 minutes per day, to help me sleep better. It's good for a lot of other things also, but now always easy to take the time to do it. :) Sometimes I feel like just being lazy like Angel. :-)
White Christmas
We DEFINITELY had a very white Christmas this year. So far in November and December, we have had OVER 5 feet of snow. It's the 8th most snowy winter on record. Our snow blower has gotten lots of use this winter, until the belt came off right near the end of removing a foot (or more) of snow from our driveway. Tom is very tired of the snow and we still have several more months to go. We just take one day at a time and enjoy the beauty. "}
This is right out our front window on Christmas day. Very beautiful.
We have only had one moose in our yard so far this year, although yesterday when Angel and I were on our walk, I saw some fresh tracks, but...fortunately we never saw it while walking. We were walking very fast because it was very cold, about zero.

Christmas
My good friend, Karleen made this apron for me. It's pretty cute. I love wearing aprons while I cook. I think that comes from my mom, it seems like she use to tie a big towel around me, when I was a little girl when I was helping her in the kitchen.
Tom made a brisket that was very yummy. Our friends brought a wonderful fruit salad, I made some home made rolls, vegetable medley, baked potatoes, and other goodies. It was a great week for leftovers. Part of the benefits of cooking, is to be able to have some for the week. I love that.
Santa was in our living room and would tell us the Christmas story and sang some songs. He was pretty cute.
