More summer stuff.

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I put anything on here.
It's hard to believe that summer is almost half over already. Each day goes by and I don't take time to share what's been going on, so I guess not to much. I love to go around the neighborhood and take in all the beautiful flowers.
Our neighbor made my day tonight, when I stopped by her house and told her I had been admiring her Peonies, and asked her if I could take a picture of them. She was very gracious and even cut one for me. I guess I don't have the knack for the Peonies. I did plant some this summer, but...they didn't grow. Everyone I talk to, says it takes a couple of years for them to take off. So...maybe next year, this will be my own Peonies.
Tom and I made this new deck together this summer. It was nice to work together, and actually accomplish something, without getting at each other. I really like the Trex that it's made out of, no maintenance! No painting, no fading, no anything! It's great and so much more sturdy than our old one.

Our other big decision we made this summer was to get rid of our boat that we've had for about 10 years. We've had a lot of good trips in it and it was hard to put it on Craig's list, but...hopefully someone else will get a lot more fun out of it. It's still in great shape and they will be getting a good deal. When the toys get to be more work then, it's time to let someone else enjoy it.
