More Lunar Eclipse
We've been playing with Tom's new Bushnell spotting scope that has a camera in it. It's pretty cool.
Full Moon
We're playing with Tom's new spotting scope he got from SBS after 20 years. Pretty good picture of the full moon on this winter solstice on Dec. 21,2010
Lunar Eclipse
We got a couple good pictures of the winter Lunar Eclipse by using Tom's new spotting scope that he got from SBS for being there 20 years. It was pretty cool-we almost forgot we had to to play with.

Office Christmas party Dec. 2010
This year we kept our Christmas party nice and casual. Chris and Steve invited us all to their house.
Chris had decorated their table real pretty and we all took our favorite Christmas snack.
Doctor Ross played the piano for us a little near the end of the party. He plays real well.
Chris had just had knee surgery Dec. 8th and wasn't really up to doing anything fancy.
We enjoyed a nice relaxing evening at their house.

Beautiful Winter pictures
For you who would like to have a little
snow for Christmas, I'll share some with you.
We have about 15-16 inches right now.
It's beautiful and makes everything so clean
looking.
Here is our winter wonderland after one of our recent storms. I think this was Thanksgiving Day.
So far I've been able to cope with the long winter.

Moose resting
This moose came and took a nap on our front yard, just one day before Lon and Debi got back from Fairbanks. I was hoping we would see one while they were here but we didn't. Although, Lon and Tom saw 2 when they wer out driving around without us girls. Wouldn't you knw it. :)
Playing
Lori, I sure have enjoy playing with Picasa. Thank you for sharing that with me. It's even more for when I can get things to work right. :)
Christmas things
This Christmas stocking was made by a dear friend of grandma Nogles.
It's about 3 feet long and hold a LOT of goodies. I never have filled it all the way. :)
It is pretty amazing and a LOT of time went into putting each one of those
sequence on. This was all done by hand.
I decided to put up our tree again this year. First time we have put it up in about
8 years. (Since Angel our dog, was a puppy). Hopefully she will leave it alone and not
eat the ornaments. :) It was fun to put each ornament on and remember who made it
or gave it to me. A lot of them went WAY back--about 37 to 40 years ago. AMAZING.
My mom had made some of the ornaments, and there are other ornaments that friends
from Albuquerque made for me, many moons ago. It was so fun to bring back the
memories of those people.
I was trying to get this without a flash. It turned out pretty good, considering
who decorated it and took it. :)
Our Nativity set that we've had for about 20 years. I hope I got the appropriate people in
the right place. This is just my version of how I picture the manger where Jesus was born.
Pretty amazing when you think about it.
I remember how I felt after I had Vaughn, Dec. 14th , almost 35 years ago. I went to church that next
Sunday and cried during most of the service. I just kept thinking of Mary and what she must have
felt like.

Merry Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS! It is kind of rare that all three of us are together, so I thought I better take this opportunity
to post it. I thought you might like to see the "real us."
