Creative nephew

The story is something like this:  Mom, Grandma Nogle, Paul, John & Aspen are in Alaska visiting us until July 9th. Tom has been on vacation this week so has gotten to be their tour guide then I will get to next week. Well...Tom & mom had gone to the store and Paul and the kids were home, but had gone for a walk and were not able to get into our house when they returned before mom and Tom did.  John kept telling his dad he was hungry, so his dad suggested a "natures sandwich." so... John and Paul picked some flowers, plants and other item to add to the sandwich. He was very creative in the design and in his narrative to the video. When they finished and Mom and Tom got home the first thing Aspen said was, "I didn't do it, I didn't have any part of it, it wasn't me. They did it." It was pretty cute. They are all very creative and having fun exploring Alaska and Aspen LOVES to ride her bike, and John LOVES video games. I haven't gotten to spend much time with them yet, but hopefully next week. :-)

WE FINISHED OUR SIDING!

Our MAJOR project that Tom and I have been working on for 2 summers now is FINALLY done. YEA!!! We finished all 4 sides of siding on our house. It looks really nice and I've very proud of us for taking on and accomplishing such a HUGE task. It was VERY difficult to keep pressing on at times, but we both knew we started it, WE had to finish it. It was a very satisfying accomplishment for us and good for us to do something like this together. Hopefully that's all the HUGE projects on this house before we move in a few more years. We BOTH had lots of days with sore muscles and the advil and alieve came our very good friend along with the epson salt.  THANKS LORD FOR HELPING US THROUGH.
