My friends album

I'm sending a few pictures of the photo album/scrap book I made my for my good friend Karleen for her birthday. I had a lot of fun putting it together. Some pages came out better than others, but...I did it, and she loved it. So that made it worth it. We enjoy going to the State Fair together in September. All the flowers are beautiful!

Now we are in Kauai!! This was the group of us that went. It was a lot of fun.

Nothing like sitting and relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets in Hawaii from our back yard. They were beautiful and we were out there almost every night we were there. It was so relaxing.

For Karleens, birthday, we went to "Queens Bath" in Northern Kaua, near Princeville, but...when we got there the surf was WAY TO HIGH to even get close. The ways were sooooo powerful, it was AMAZING!! The sun was soooo nice and warm, but not hot. It was GREAT!

We watched a couple kit surfers, I think is what they are called. They were amazing!!

We also enjoyed a coastal bike ride. It was soooo delightful. So...these are a few of the picture/scrap book pages I put together for my friend. It was so much fun to get pictures from her friends and fix them up for her.

Our spring and summer project

Tom & I are finally tackling our siding on our house.

The new siding going up.

We got quit a bit done today. We actually tore all the old siding off last weekend and put this much new siding up today. It just takes a lot of time. It's a BIG learning experience for me and it's good to watch Tom. We actually make a pretty good team. I'm his assistant. :)

We had a visitor a little later after dinner. His antlers are really itching him. He kept trying to rub them against the trees, to get some of the velvet off, but. they are very tender right now and are have a LOT of growing to do very quickly. He came right up to our back fence.
