My favorite color
Can you guess what my favorite color might be?... If you guessed fusha you are right. I got kind of carried away with pictures of our beautiful floweres we have in our yard, once I finally took time to "smell the roses". And boy did they smell good! I had given the big rose bush a "military hair cut" earlier in the summer, and I wasn't real sure how it was going to do this summer. But it looks pretty good to me. It looks like there will be lots more roses here very shortly! YEA! The colombines are doing pretty good also. Enjoy!
Beautiful Mountains & flowers
The mountains were covered with a beautiful blanket of clouds tonight. It just looks so soft and peaceful. We have had LOTS of clouds this summer. After seeing Laurie's pictures, of the clouds in Arizona, I decided to share some from Alaska. :o)
Here is another picture of one of my flowers blooming in our yard this summer. With all the rain we have had, I haven't even had to water them very often.

New Friends
We got to meet some neat people from New York today. They are Paul & Meg Bearce, our nephew's mom and dad. They are touring cross country in the 5th wheel and have been gone since mid June and will return to New York about Mid Sept?? (or whenever they get back) :o) It was great to show them around Anchorage and go out to dinner with them.
Colorado Trip
As most of you know our sister-n-law passed away July 1st. We're happy for Cindy that she is with the Lord now and not in pain any more. Paul will need continued pray and support as he raises his 2 young children.
Here are a few pictures from when we were down in Colorado with the family. It was difficult and yet good to be together.
Paul did the eulogy for Cindy and had Lonnie stand with him in case he could not finish. Paul introduced Lonnie as his "oldest son, I mean oldest brother." When the laughter stooped he was able to continue and do very well.
Paul has touched many lives in the church they attend and is receiving great support from the Lord through this church.
The boat that we were on has three turbo diesel motors that all together produce 1000 horse power through the three water jets. The boat can carry up to 50 people, we only had 14 on this trip. We went about 160 mil up the Sustina @ 30 miles an hour. In this video we are in class 4 rapids , looking at class 5 ,we stopped . We wanted to go on but the boat captain would not. Vaughn ,Brian and I, we had a wonderful time.
