Diaper Cake

My friend Karleen, was in town a couple weekend ago and she helped me put together a diaper cake for our wonderful Doc. Cynowa who was pregnant with twins. We did not know if they were girls or boys. All we knew was that they were identical, and close to 7 lbs each. Dr. C is a tiny gal, and both babies were very healthy. At the end of January her twin baby girls were born, both very healthy, with LOTS of long dark hair. They are so beautiful and Dr. C and Brice are all sooo happy, and adjusting well to their new life style.

Moose story

I have kind of a funny story to go along with this picture. Lets see...
It was a Sunday afternoon, one cold winter January day, and I opened the door to our back yard, to let Angel out to do her thing, and our neighbors dogs were out in their yard. Well...when they heard me open the door to let Angel out, they decided to come and join her in our yard. So...one of our neighbors dog noticed the young moose, laying down right out side our fence in our neighbors yard. That dog decided he had to get to where that young moose was and jumped our other fence and went after the moose. Well...the young moose didn't like that at all, and charge the dog. Finally after much ruckus, and barking and disturbing all of the neighbors, the guy finally came out, went through our yard, and finally got control of his dogs.
Soooo....after our neighbor got his dogs under control, and took them back to where they belong, the young moose went and got it's mom and came back to the place where it was attacked. (The moose was not hurt). When I looked out the window to see what was happening, the momma moose was sniffing the ground, looking very intently in the area where her baby and the dog had been, and then proceeded to pee and poop on that spot where the dog was. That was the first time I had ever seen that, and I thought it was pretty funny. That momma moose did NOT like her baby being attacked. Just like all mom's, protecting their babies.
I'm not much of a story teller, but I hope you got the picture I was trying to describe. :)
