We had a great time while mom and Brian were here. We had to do some rearranging of schedules after Cindy passed away. Mom and Tom went to Colorado for the services and Brian stayed here. Mom and I were planning a trip to King Salmon, AK. but we will need to do that another time. Mom came back up after they went to Colorado to finish her time here till the 8th of July. It is so nice to have her here. I was able to have off from work until today. It has been very nice just to spend time with her.
Brian made it home alright. He got to experience the "midnight sun" and fireworks on the 4th of July before it was really dark. Our fireworks here are at midnight, after a double header baseball game. That's about the only time they show up. We also got to go on a Kenai Fjord trip, on a boat, that was awsome. Brian REALLY LIKED the glacier! He said it was the most awesome trip of any trips he has made. He got to spend lots of time with Vaughn since he does not have a job either at this time. It was good for the to be together. Brian also enjoyed seeing the mux ox at the zoo. He got to see about 8 or 9 moose in the wild and lots of beautiful scenery and flowers. He can tell this a lot better than I can, but I'll share some of what he did.
