Fun with Lon & Deb

We had fun going down to Whittier and showing them the blue ice from the glacier. It took Deb a little while to realize what she was looking for, and once she saw it she "loved it."
We took them to a refuse farm where we could see some of the animals up close. It was a good thing we did, then they got a better idea of what the animals looks like that live up here. Actually... the Elk, pictured here, really isn't native to Alaska, but he was sure pretty.

Deb loved the "blue ice" once she realized that it was a piece of the Glacier.

Lon with his silly hat trying to stay warm. It was pretty cold that day with the wind blowing.

We stopped for a photo op along the Turnagain arm. The wind went right through us that day. They were good sports and hung right in there with us.

Tom & Vaughn posing with the animals at the Chocolate factory.
P.S. Lindy, when you get to Alaska , you will DEFINITELY have to go there with us.

Lon & Deb after one of our shopping stops down town Anchorage. Cute picture of them.
