More on "break up"

This is one of the trails Angel and I walk on when it's half way nice and not so cold. This was a beautiful sunny day and Angel is such a good sport. She is always willing to go with me. In fact most of the time it's her that initiates the walks. I'm very thankful for her. This Friday when we were walking on the trail, she accidentally stepped off the packed snow and sank into the snow and hurt her right leg. It's didn't keep her down very long though. The next day she went with me again, only a little slower. She is fine now.

I'm so glad this week is over. It was a hard week for me. I was still feeling kind of down, and I let things get to me at work and at home, that usually don't bother me. I think it's part of this menopausal stuff I'm dealing with at this time in my life. I guess I just have to learn to deal with my emotions better and not "wear them on my sleeve" as Tom says.

Tonight I was sitting here by myself, looking at e-mails and face book and my sister sent me an e-mail with some songs by Johnny Cash, The Statler Brothers, Gathier family and others. There were several songs that I new, and before long I was singing right along with them and feeling much better. It's amazing what a little singing does for the soul. :) I'm going to turn the music up loud next time, feeling down. Look out Tom and Vaughn. :)

I'm glad you're feeling better. When I get down it helps to count my blessings. I don't always do this very well but I'm getting better at it. We have so much to be thankful for - like the fact that the God of the universe loves us and calls us His own! He's forgotten all our sins against Him!
We will be with Him for all eternity!
I love you!!
