Good Day

Well since I'm not able to figure out how to find and move the pictures to my blog, I guess I'll just write a little. I'm a little flustered with blogging and face book right now. I'm not able to do either one very well and I try things off and on, but don't have the patience if things don't work right, like now. Sooo....I just don't do it as often.
I'm almost back to "reality" after being gone for those 10 wonderful days. It took me about a week before I could get up and have a good attitude. Today it has finally warmed up, (to about 20) so it makes it much more pleasant to walk. Walking always helps my attitude. I love to just breath the fresh air. When we returned from our walk tonight, there was a momma moose in our neighbors drive way, with her ears down, so I quickly got Angel to go into our back yard and into the house, before she saw the moose. Otherwise...who knows what would have happened. :o)
It's snowing today also and that just make everything so beautiful.
We also have a volcano that has been gurgling for the past week or so, and they are not sure when it's going to blog, but they say it will sooner or later. We have gotten some dried fruit, canned food, and filled extra water jugs, & other supplies just in case. About 15+ years ago, a volcano went off, and it was real spooky the way the ash filled the air and made the sky dark. It was almost like darkness in the middle of the afternoon. It was weird and very interesting. So.... when she blows we could have a mess here, depending on the wind direction.

I wondered if that volcano was going to affect you. Why do you have to get extra supplies? I am not educated on what it is like when a volcano erupts, but if it is anything like Pompei, I think you might need a little more than fruit!!! Love Ya!!!

The volcano is about 150 miles from Anchorage. For you to get a better idea how it will affect use you can google it at alaska volcoano and see the fall out from Redoubt . on the puff ash cloud predictions. there is a seismic chart below the web cam pictures. If we get a ash fall it would be good to have about 3 days of water and food . our supplies would not be replenish for about that long.
