Trip to Colorado

For those of you who don't know, my oldest sister, Wanda (in the blue) lost her husband, Jerry , Dec. 9th after he had a heart attack while clearing the snow from their driveway in Trinidad, Colorado where they lived over 20 years. They had LOTS of friends and adopted family there. The town showed my sister overwhelming support and love. They showered us with all kinds of food, a nice discount at the hotel where a lot of us stayed, lots of beautiful plants and flowers, cards and phone calls and a ride to and from the airports for some of us.
It was nice to get reacquainted with some of Jerry's relatives that I hadn't seen in over 40 years. We had our good times and sad times. Jerry loved camping, hunting, four wheeling and his dogs. He worked for the State of Colorado for many years. We had lots of the state employees and his hunting and camping buddies stop by and share stories about Jerry. We had lots good laughs and it was fun to hear how much Jerry was loved and will be missed.
I'm not sure how these pictues will come out, but they are: my mom and Wanda..., Wanda and her neice Tammy, from Montrose, Colorado, ...Jack (Jerry's brother), and a hunting buddy, Brian (nephew) and I were fixing sandwices for the 30 people that came for lunch.... Then my neice, Hannah (red hair) with my youngest sister Glenda, brother Ron & I, ... then some of people at the tables we had set up to help acomadate everyone. It was awesome!

I am sorry for the circumstance that brought the trip to CO, but I sure am glad you got to go and see your family.
